In fact, Oxford cloth is closely related to our daily lives, commonly used in sportswear, shirts, pajamas, and more. Today, I'll delve into the knowledge of this fabric, to help you gain a deeper understanding of it.
    1. Definition of Oxford cloth
Oxford cloth is a versatile and widely used new fabric. Currently, there are mainly varieties such as checkered, fully elastic, nylon, and striped on the market. Oxford cloth, also known as Oxford fabric, originated in the UK and is a traditional combed Cotton Fabric named after Oxford University. Oxford cloth is made using relatively fine combed high-count yarn as the double warp, interwoven with thicker weft yarn in a weft-heavy plain weave. It has a soft color, a soft texture, good breathability, comfortable to wear, easy to wash, and quick-drying.

    2. Classification of Oxford cloth:
The Oxford fabric, known as taoge Oxford, utilizes polyester FDY150D/36F for both warp and weft threads. The fabric is woven on a water jet loom using a plain weave structure, with a warp and weft density of 360X210. After undergoing processes such as relaxation, alkali treatment, dyeing, anti-static treatment, and coating, the fabric exhibits characteristics such as lightness, softness, good waterproofing, and durability. This type of Oxford fabric is ideal and commonly used for making luggage and bags.

The fabric of nylon Oxford cloth utilizes 200D nylon air-textured yarn for the warp and 160D nylon air-textured yarn for the weft. It features a plain weave structure and is produced through water jet weaving. After undergoing dyeing, finishing, and coating processes, the grey fabric exhibits soft hand feel, strong draping quality, novel style, and good waterproof performance, with a nylon yarn gloss effect on the surface. Due to its excellent quality and novel patterns, it is deeply loved by users. The fabric has a width of 150cm. It is understood that the fabric is marketed for its advantages of non-fading and non-deformation. The available colors on the market include navy blue, light black, tiger yellow, dark green, and other varieties, and various colors can be selected and dyed in batches according to customer needs.

The Oxford fabric, made entirely of polyester DTY300D yarn for both warp and weft, is interwoven on a water jet loom using a coarse-point change open weave structure. After relaxation scouring, presetting, alkali reduction, and soft setting, the reverse side of the fabric is coated with a rubber-plastic layer. Bags made from this fabric are sought after by many fashion-conscious ladies for their stylish appearance, delicate texture, and good waterproofing, making them the new darlings of the current women's bag market.
